Founder & President
Terence Davidson is the creator and founder of Sentence Calculator, a groundbreaking sentencing computation system that brings accuracy, consistency, and transparency to the justice process.
Over the course of his career, Terence has combined deep legal knowledge with technical precision to solve one of the justice system’s most persistent challenges — ensuring every sentence is calculated lawfully and without error. Drawing on decades of experience in both criminal law and administrative computing, he developed the proprietary algorithms that power Sentence Calculator after years of working directly with attorneys, corrections personnel, and clients navigating New York State’s complex sentencing statutes.
Terence holds a Master’s in Educational Administration with a concentration in Management Systems from Columbia University, and a Master’s in Criminal Justice specializing in Criminal Law and Procedure from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
With more than 45 years of experience designing, managing, and implementing large-scale administrative computing systems, Terence has held senior leadership roles across multiple organizations. His work has been recognized by The Legal Aid Society’s Decarceration Project, where Sentence Calculator was used to correct hundreds of unlawful detentions and save taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Now in its next phase, under Terence’s guidance, Sentence Calculator continues to serve courts, corrections, and counsel — empowering justice professionals with the tools to safeguard fairness, uphold accuracy, and restore confidence in the integrity of sentencing.
